How Healing Happens: A Vibrational Perspective
AI Created by MB
When we talk about healing, it's common to imagine the healer as someone who "fixes" or "heals" another person. But the truth is far more empowering for both the healer and the one seeking healing. Healing is not something a healer does to someone; rather, it's a process of vibrational alignment between two states—one being the frequency of health and wholeness, and the other being the person in need of that frequency. Having studied various healing modalities, I’ve noticed that healing comes down to a shared energy or resonance between the healer and the person seeking healing. At its core, it's about holding that space for the healing to occur.
Healing: What Does That Even Mean?
If you are a beginner reading this article, it’s important to address the definition of what it means to heal. The term "healing" often gets tossed around, but what does it mean? Healing isn’t just about fixing a physical ailment or soothing emotional pain. At its core, healing is about bringing the mind, body, and spirit back into alignment, allowing energy to flow freely and restoring a sense of balance. It’s a process of addressing not only the symptoms but also the underlying causes, whether they’re emotional, mental, or energetic. True healing allows for transformation, where individuals can release old patterns, embrace new vibrations, and ultimately connect with a state of wholeness. It’s a journey of self-awareness and energetic resonance, where the healer simply helps facilitate the process.
The Healer as a Vibration of Wholeness
Every person, including healers, gives off a natural vibration, a frequency that reflects their current state of being. When a healer shares their vibration, especially one that represents a healed and whole state, they are simply being that frequency. It's not about using energy to "fix" anyone; instead, it’s about offering an energetic example of what healing feels like.
Working with Divine Source Energy
As healers, it’s essential to avoid using our energy during healing. Instead, we connect with the Divine Source, allowing us to offer pure, infinite energy without depleting our reserves. This ensures that the client receives exactly what they need, while we maintain our balance and vitality.
Relying on personal energy can lead to burnout and even illness for the healer. By channeling energy from the Divine Source, we provide a sustainable, sacred exchange where both the healer and the client benefit. The healer becomes a living example of the frequency of healing, creating space for the client to align with that energy. Ultimately, the responsibility for healing rests with the person seeking the healer, as they must mirror the vibration to experience their healing. How does the individual do this? By being open, the fact they have reached out for healing already shows they are open to receiving one.
The Responsibility of Healing
The idea that a healer "heals" another person can place unnecessary pressure on both the healer and the person seeking healing. When healers believe it is their job to heal others, it becomes a heavy burden. They start to take on responsibility for someone else's journey, which can lead to exhaustion, stress, burnout, and even incur karma by taking away the lesson someone is here to learn.
The healer's responsibility is not to heal anyone but to be a vibrational example. The rest of the healing journey is entirely in the hands of the one seeking it. This shift in perspective relieves the healer of the weight of responsibility and empowers the person receiving healing to take charge of their well-being.
The Modality Doesn’t Matter
The specific healing modality—whether Reiki, Theta Healing, crystal therapy, or pendulum work—isn't as important as the resonance it creates. What matters most is that the person seeking healing connects with and aligns with the energy being offered.
Different people resonate with different approaches. Some may feel drawn to hands-on healing like Reiki, while others may experience shifts through meditation or sound healing. The modality simply acts as the channel for the healing energy.
As a healer, it’s not necessary to have a "perfect" technique; what’s important is creating an energetic space for healing and offering the vibration that allows the other person to resonate with their healing. However, this does not mean that study is unnecessary—quite the opposite. With each modality a healer learns, they receive attunements to that specific healing frequency, which not only enhances their skills but also raises their vibration. This attunement adds to the range of frequencies the healer can hold, enabling them to offer a broader spectrum of healing energies.
Uncovering the Root Cause
While some believe there's no need to uncover the root causes of an issue, I strongly disagree. Without addressing and removing these underlying causes, healing can be incomplete, leading to recurring patterns that repeat until they are addressed.
As healers, one of our key roles is to help the client uncover the deeper, often hidden issues contributing to their suffering. This process of exploration allows the client to become aware of the emotional, mental, or energetic blocks manifesting as physical or emotional symptoms. True healing can be elusive without this awareness, as the root issue continues to reassert itself in different ways.
By uncovering the root cause, we allow the individual to release these deeply embedded patterns, preventing the issue from resurfacing in the future. Therefore, I believe that healing is not just about managing symptoms but about getting to the core of the issue and helping the client shift from a place of limitation to a space of freedom.
Healing is a Choice
At its core, healing is a choice. An individual decides to rise to the vibration of wholeness, to align with a frequency reflecting their natural health state. A healer can offer that vibration but cannot force anyone to match it. Every person must decide to heal themselves, consciously or unconsciously, by resonating with that frequency.
A Real-Life Example
I had a client once who was struggling with recurring cancer. As we looked into her story during a session, I asked her a simple yet profound question: Do you truly want to heal? She said yes, of course, but something didn't sit right. I felt a deep resistance from her, so I gently asked, Why do I feel like you're holding back from healing?
She paused, and after some reflection, she opened up. She told me that when she was sick, her family showered her with more love. Her husband paid more attention to her, something she had been longing for. At the root of it, she didn’t truly want to give up the illness, because strangely, it was giving her something she deeply desired: love and connection.
Her story revealed an essential truth about healing—sometimes the things we think we want to release are tangled up in our emotional and psychological needs. In this case, her illness was a means of receiving the care and affection she craved. Healing wasn’t just about curing the cancer; it meant addressing the underlying emotional patterns and beliefs that were contributing to the situation.
This story illustrates that healing isn’t just about aligning with a frequency of wellness; it’s about being truly ready to let go of what keeps you from it. Healing requires not just the desire for physical change but the willingness to shift emotionally and mentally as well. As healers, we offer the vibration, but it’s up to the individual to fully embrace the transformation.
Wrapping it All Up
In the end, healing is a dynamic and deeply personal journey. It goes beyond simply fixing symptoms or addressing surface-level issues; true healing requires a willingness to look into the root causes, release old patterns, and align with a vibration of wholeness. As healers, our role is to hold a space of healing, offer a frequency of balance, and guide individuals toward their inner transformation. By connecting to the Divine Source, we ensure that the energy we offer is pure and that we protect our well-being. The modality we use is simply a tool, and it’s the resonance and willingness of the person to embrace that energy that makes healing possible. Ultimately, healing is a choice—one that empowers everyone to take charge of their well-being, allowing for profound and lasting change.
Healing, after all, is an inside job.
