Why Healers Need Healers: A Journey of Renewal, And A New Name For Ourselves

Let’s get this out in the open: I’ve never been comfortable with the terms healer or master. It kind of makes it sound like we’ve figured it all out like we’ve reached some mystical finish line of wisdom and no longer need support. Spoiler alert: We don’t have all the answers. And guess what? We need to care just as much, if not more, than our clients. I have my trusted energy worker who helps me recharge and work through the things I can’t always spot on my own.

As Frequency Alchemists (Yes, that’s what we’re calling it. You heard it here first because I just came up with it.), we spend our time helping others tune into balance, peace, and well-being. We dive deep into the energetic soup of emotions, thoughts, and cosmic currents to help our clients out. But, in all that commitment to others, we tend to skip over one crucial part of the whole equation: ourselves. Yep, even we need someone else to work their energetic magic on us. It’s pretty much essential if we want to keep doing what we do for the long haul.

The Invincibility Myth

Here’s a fun myth: "If you're a Frequency Alchemist, your energy is always sparkling and pristine, untouched by the chaos of life." Ha! If only. Sure, we know how to tune our vibes, but self-healing can only get you so far. It’s a lot like trying to give yourself a back massage. Sure, you can reach some spots, but for the deeper knots? You're going to need some help.

When we’re working in our energy fields, it’s easy to lose objectivity. We’re too close to the situation—too immersed in the daily grind of it all. Another set of trained eyes (and hands) can pick up on the things we overlook, like an old energy block hanging out, sipping tea in the corner, while we’re none the wiser. And let’s be honest, sometimes just letting someone else take the reins for a bit is a form of healing on its own.

Compassion Fatigue? Yep, It’s Real.

Let’s talk about being an empath for a moment. We’re naturally tuned into the energies and emotions of everyone around us. Over time, that can lead to what’s called "compassion fatigue" or straight-up energetic burnout. No matter how skilled you are at clearing, absorbing the stress, trauma, and general funkiness of others is bound to weigh you down eventually.

Getting help from another Frequency Alchemist (or energy worker, if you prefer) is like hitting the reset button. It’s a chance to sweep away the dust, shake out the cobwebs, and recharge. And when we take care of ourselves like this, guess what? We’re able to show up more fully for our clients too.

We’re All Still on the Journey

Healing isn’t a one-and-done thing. Sorry, no magical finish line here. It’s a lifelong journey. Even the most seasoned among us are still evolving, learning, and hitting the occasional energetic speed bump. And you know what? That’s kind of the beauty of it.

Sometimes, another Frequency Alchemist will notice something we hadn’t even considered. They can see our blind spots, those areas of growth we’ve gotten so good at tiptoeing around that we forgot they were even there. It’s like getting a fresh map when you’re stuck wandering in circles.

Why We Can’t See Our Blind Spots

Okay, real talk. Even the best of us can’t see everything about ourselves. Just like surgeons don’t perform surgery on themselves (for obvious reasons), we can’t always spot our energy blocks or emotional baggage. We’re too close to it all—the memories, the patterns, the “Oh, I’ll deal with that later” pile that never seems to get smaller.

That’s where another Frequency Alchemist comes in. They have the gift of distance and neutrality. They’re not tangled up in our day-to-day lives, so they can point out those hidden blockages, funky vibes, or misalignments we’ve accidentally learned to live with. By letting them work on us, we gain the clarity we need to move forward on our healing journey.

The Power of Letting Go

We all know someone who seems to have every answer and always looks like they’re on top of everything. But here’s the truth: no one has it all figured out, and that’s okay. If someone claims to know it all but doesn’t take time for self-care, it’s a gentle reminder that even the most knowledgeable among us need rest and balance.

One of the best gifts we can give ourselves is permission to be vulnerable. I know, I know—it’s easier said than done. As Frequency Alchemists, we’re used to being the ones with the answers. But guess what? Sometimes, not having all the answers is exactly where the magic happens.

When we allow another energy worker to help us, we’re reminding ourselves that it’s okay to ask for help, to not be in charge all the time. In that moment of letting go, we open the door for deeper healing, the kind that recharges the soul and brings us back into alignment.

Building a Network of Energy Alchemists

When we support each other, we create a ripple effect. It strengthens not only us but the whole community of energy workers, lightworkers, and alchemists out there. We can’t pour from an empty cup, right? So, by caring for each other, we ensure that we all have the strength to keep doing this work with love, integrity, and clean energy.

And, let’s be honest—sometimes, this work can feel isolating. But when you connect with another Frequency Alchemist, it reminds you that you’re not floating out there in the cosmic soup alone. We’re all part of this web, working together to bring more harmony to the world.

Be Your Own Best Client

So, my fellow Frequency Alchemists, here’s the deal: Just like you tell your clients to take care of themselves, you need to do the same. Let another energy worker work their magic on you. It’s not a sign of weakness—it’s a sign of wisdom.

True wisdom comes from walking the talk—supporting others while also tending to our energy. Taking care of yourself ensures that you can continue showing up, fully charged and ready to help others. So go ahead, book that session, and let someone else help you rekindle your energetic flame, and shine brighter than ever.

After all, even the cosmic DJ needs a break to dance to someone else’s tune now and then! Once a week to be exact!
